In February 2014 David and Marianne Carter purchased Morpeth Butchery to process their Hunter Natural beef and lamb for their existing customers and the Farmers Markets. They also wanted to bring healthy, grass finished Hunter Natural beef and lamb to the people of the Maitland and Newcastle areas.
They specialise in free range grass fed, hormone and antibiotic free beef and lamb. Coming from their farm in the upper hunter valley 40km East of Scone. Free range poultry and pork is sourced from other (preferably local) producers.
Also a wide range of small goods and BBQ products are available.
Morpeth Butchery take pride in good old fashioned personal service.
Coming soon the Morpeth Smokehouse, is the installation of a smoking oven to create their own smoked products. Bacon, Hams, Jerky and other specialty small goods.
