Wanted: Morpeth Residents to Participate in the Morpeth Village Garage Sale Trail!

We invite you, your family, friends, & neighbours to become involved.  This weekend in November has been chosen to coincide with the Australian National Garage Sale. The aim is to connect the halls in Morpeth with vintage traders in them with garage, market or car boot stalls hosted by residents of Morpeth.

Visitors (and your fellow Morpeth residents) will be encouraged to park at either end of Morpeth village, and walk the approximately 1km from Tank Street to Edward Street & everywhere in between, using the Garage Sale Trail as a map.

The website is a giant map of every person, business or organisation within Australia having a garage sale/event.  Register your event for free on the website. Head to   www.garagesaletrail.com.au

Within the website are free flyers, banners, letter box logos and extra tips to assist you in hosting your garage sale or market stall.  The aim is to get as many red dots on the map for Morpeth as we can and help Morpeth residents turn their unwanted and pre loved goods into dollars.  Participants will be able to clear out old items, and turn your stash into cash.

Direct from the Garage Sale Trail Website, here are some of their favourite sale names spotted on previous trails to inspire you with yours:  Honey I Sold The Kids  -  Ten Things I Hate About New  -  The Only Lionel Vinyl Sale  -  The Almost Deceased Estate  -  The Man Sale -  Crap & Crepes  -  Yaard Sale   -  The Really Inexpensive Department Store  -  I Like To Move It, Move It
